Emil studied Urban Design at the Technical University Berlin and a semester of Architecture at École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture in Lyon. Throughout his research and design practice, the topics of co-production, the right to the city and working as a collective find their ways into all of his projects. As part of the collective (re)searching urbanity, he organizes events at the intersection of critical urban research, practice and activism.
