After two years of no notorious editions of the Gentse Feesten 10-day 24/7 cultural program… put on your dancing shoes!
On invitation by BROEI & Yart, ConstructLab initiated a three-day building moment with volunteers to design & construct structures shaping the frontyard of the historical Duivelsteen castle.Trois Points Collectief painted a 10×10 test-card image was on the wooden construction lats, alluding to in-between status of the Duivelsteen castle at this moment. A workshop of assembling painting shoes ignited a collective performative walk on the painted lats. Finally, with a group of volunteers three structures were raised, welcoming once again the audience of the Gentse Feesten to a program of performance, concerts, and DJ sets.
