Here comes the 1st Spoon Carving Meeting in Porto!

Carve a spoon!

Guest teacher Pedag. Prof. Ing. Christian Wilfling (Vienna), a professional spooner and involved in international spoon festivals, will guide us through the process of chopping, sawing and carving wood down to our custom-made spoon!

Let’s get into the deep philosophy and history of spoons from its origin to the present.

The Paredes-Meias Cooperative will provide the wood, equipment and tools such as carving knives, saws, gouges or a shaving hourse.
There may be wood-worms.

However, bring with you any piece of wood or tool you like!
